I’m having an issue with WP 3.3, BP 1.5.2 and gConnect 1.0.7.
The CSS is working for gConnect, but there is some kind of PHP error (blank white screen) when you click onto a BP page. I have tested the configuration out on multisite and a brand new install and get the same outcome.

Hi, I’m interested in buying the Genesis Connect theme and I’m not sure how members post blogs? I cant find an option for this and it’s a deal breaker so can anyone enlighten me?

GenesisConnect is a plugin that adds BuddyPress theme support to Genesis & Genesis child themes.
There is a setting in WordPress admin that allows users creating their own subsites/blogs. That’s disabled on this site. You don’t need either BuddyPress or GenesisConnect for users being able to create blogs.

Strange that the POST UPDATE box is so small, while the REPLY box is so big.
They should BOTH be big, yes?

You can change the size to suit your preference with a bit of CSS. The default size is based on the size in the default BP theme.

BuddyPress makes use of an extensive set of templates in addition to the ones in a regular WP theme. GenesisConnect adds that the theme support for the BP templates and has support for Genesis and 30+ child themes. So basically, Genesis Connect allows us to use Buddy Press with our own Genesis Child Theme? Does it do anything else?

Basically, yes. It includes support for 38 official child themes. For most of those, the support is CSS for the BP content areas for that particular child theme.

Does anyone if it’s possible to add “auto scroll” to the above GenisisConnect nav bar? In my case there are too many “Themes” listed, and the list drops below my screen, and I cannot get to for example “Streamline”.. ( I can get as far as “Prose”)

Responded in the support forum. You need to update to GenesisConnect 1.1 for BP 1.5 or higher versions.
Love an answer that simple. Where do I get the upgrade? I haven’t seen an automatic one come across the dashboard yet.
